Project Name: Acton Lane 11kv Substation Renewal
Customer Organisation: Amey
GBR was contracted to install new twin Cubis and elevated trough route for a new upgrade of 11kv power cable supply running to Acton Lane substation from the west coast main line, this was another good scheme for us because of all the different elements of work and discipline going on in that small area.
Outcomes
We were very close to so many underground power cables and substation equipment, this was controlled well by the client always being present to make sure everything was done to a great standard with good communication between the site team throughout the whole scheme. This made the job go very well.
